Looking for a Part Time Special Needs Caregiver/Companion for (38-year-old) adult who has OCD with Somatic Symptoms, Epilepsy (well controlled with medication), & Autism Spectrum Disorder- in Sun Valley, CA. Ideal candidate: Experienced, friendly, patient, flexible, a good communicator/companion, assertive, special needs caregiver to take him on outings, errands & appointments (ie: grocery shopping, Dr. appts, meals out, healthy activities, etc, to keep him engaged, skill-building/problem solving & to support him through any challenges). This is an interactive position with an emphasis on life-building skills & strengthening his ability to interact outside his residence. Must have own vehicle, comp. ins & safe driver. Mileage @. 70c per mile. Mon. and Thurs. from: 1-5 p.m. - increasing noon -5 p.m. as client adjusts to new caregiver/schedule.
