About who needs care: Several underlying conditions including an autoimmune disease, respiratory issues, acid reflux/esophagus issues, and shingles. In the last year, the amount of care needed has increased, and having someone visit daily (whether a family member or caretaker) to make sure meals are ready, medicine is taken, and lung condition is being managed is now necessary. About the care needs: The ideal caregiver is someone patient and flexible, and preferably speaks Spanish. The care necessary is relatively straightforward, but needs will vary from day to day so open and active communication with the wider family is needed to help manage that care. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
