About who needs care: My dad is 82 years old and is struggling to take care of basic tasks like picking things up off the floor, emptying the dishwasher, putting away laundry, and meal prep. About the care needs: Someone who does not get easily offended. My dad has a sense of humor that can be misinterpreted. He can also come across harsh at times if he isn't feeling well. Overall, he loves to joke around and have fun, but he has his moments where he also has a short temper. He has a really hard time hearing (needs hearing aids but refuses) so the caregiver needs to speak very loudly. He struggles with accents, so someone who can speak very clearly would be ideal. English is his first language followed by German. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
