About who needs care: Mom has terminal brain cancer, is currently sleeping most of the day. She gets up to use a bedside commode that's right next to her bed every few hours, and requires assistance to get back into bed due to mental confusion and limited mobility. Essentially I just need someone to be here to help her get back into bed when I go run errands. The caregiver can watch TV in the living room while keeping an eye on the baby monitor. She doesn't often recognize her own house so she sometimes gets herself in situations where lift assist is required, so just would like to avoid that scenario occurring when I go run errands. About the care needs: Just need to be able to keep an eye on the monitor and be okay with guiding her back into bed. And be okay with driving out to Shingletown (we're in the neighborhood directly behind a Store). Hoping to start with perhaps 4 hours twice a week, for 8 hours total per week, specific days TBD by caregiver availability. Services needed include: mobility assistance.
