Caregiver For Loving Mother With Dementia (30 Hrs/week)

We are seeking a compassionate, patient caregiver for our mother, who has progressed dementia. She is loving, kind, and has a great sense of humor. Your role will be to ensure her safety, as she may wander if left alone. She can use the bathroom independently but needs help with heating pre-prepared meals and reminders to use her walker. Other responsibilities may include: Assisting with meal preparation, mild assistance with dressing, possibly picking her up from a day program 1-2 days a week, engaging her in activities (puzzles, crafts) to stimulate her cognitively and physically (short walks). We welcome caregivers who have a friendly dog that can join them, as our mom loves spending time with animals. We are seeking someone who is an IHSS provider or willing to become one, available for around 30 hours per week.
