About the job
I'm looking for a compassionate and reliable caregiver for my 78-year-old dad, who's recovering from a stroke. He's paralyzed on his right side and has lost his speech abilities, so he needs some extra help with daily tasks. - Location: Scotts Valley - Duties: Assisting with transitioning from bed/chair to wheelchair, bathing, brief changing, toileting, light cleaning, bed changing, basic meal prep, medication reminders & help practicing his speech and PT homework from the therapists. He is motivated to get better and has a great attitude. This is a part time to full time position depending on your availability. We will likely have two caregivers to cover the hours between early morning and bedtime 7 days per week. Looking for a private caregiver, not an agency. Please DM me if interested.
