Live-in Home Care Needed For My Loved One In Santa Rosa

About who needs care: My aunt was in hospital with a hip fracture following a fall down the stairs. She is convalescing at home after she had hip reconstruction surgery last week. She is getting visits from the occupational therapist / physio therapist who check on her progress. She has been instructed to use Zimmer frame to get around the house and was prescribed Tramadol to ease the pain. She will need some help with ADL, household tasks such as laundry, meal preparation, pet care (2 cats), transportation to medical appointments. She was diagnosed with PD over a year ago but was managing ok until she suffered a bad fall. Her interests include literature, poetry. She is an animal rights advocate. About the care needs: We are looking for a motivated, reliable and compassionate person that can provide 24 hour care until the patient has a personal alarm system installed. Ideal candidate would be a cheerful care professional, either a CNA or RN. Must speak adequate English and be in possession of their own car. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
