About who needs care: I am creating this profile for my mother, Debbie to help her with finding respite care. We are looking for respite care to give us a few hours to go do errands, or spend time with friends. We are looking for flexible as-needed care at the moment, but in future weeks could turn into a weekly occurrence. My father is a happy, chill, 82-year-old man. He has dementia and is on hospice (he is unaware he is on hospice). He typically spends his time sitting/sleeping in his chair watching TV and occasionally snacking in the kitchen. He is able to walk independently, to the bathroom/kitchen but can be unstable at times. Duties would include either watching TV with him, hanging out at the kitchen table while he watches TV, or re-heating leftovers for him. We would prefer a female companion. About the care needs: Personality we are looking for a bubbly, positive, female. Services needed include: companionship.
