About who needs care: I am an 80-year-old retired college instuctor living with my partner of 35 years in a beautiful coastal home. As I have over-extended my legs, I use a wheelchair with help transferring.. . We need a 'housekeeper' for keeping Kitchen clean and organized, general housework and outdoor watering of plants if time. My loves are painting, playing piano, and D keeps up with his business and enjoys painting. We both like the calmness of living in the country with out cat.
About the care needs: Our ideal caregiver is cheerful, capable, reliable, self-motivating and appreciative of life. Ability to make transfers with a gait belt can be learned. Good cleaning skills and cooking if wanted.
Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
