My mother just entered Hospice at the age of 106. She is visually handicapped, sweet and loving, but has dementia with memory loss and confusion. She now uses a wheelchair and occasionally a walker and needs to be transferred. (She weighs about 125lbs. but she lives with me and I am usually available to help) She also needs very simple food prep and some feeding, oral care, medications, toileting and conversation. Schedule: 30 hours a week: all day (11 hours) Mondays & Fridays, half day (4 hours) Tuesdays & Thursdays About the care needs: I'm looking for a female with many years of experience, especially with Hospice. She needs to be gentle, patient, experienced with dementia, oral care and toileting. Prefer a caregiver who is a non-smoker and comfortable with pets. We have a small, sweet 13-year-old dog. Light housekeeping also needed.
