About the job
About who needs care: I am a youngish adult with an old person back. I am having outpatient surgery to repair a herniated disc and need some help in the days after. I've done it once before so I kind of know what to expect, but this time it's worse. I may need overnight watch the first night (18th) but I'll know for sure in next 24 hours. At the least I need a few hours a day 19th-22nd. Services needed include: Some assistance moving around (getting up and down into bed, couch, getting comfortable, watching over me while I recover, maybe light meal preparation, potentially errands / shopping, light housekeeping (my house is clean so only picking up stuff I drop), potentially dressing, light mobility assistance as I need to walk 5 minutes every few hours, and making sure I'm tracking my meds correctly during my post-surgery haze.
