About who needs care: Mornings are preferred; she loves trips to the beach in the car; she needs prompting with remembering her hearing aids and use of headphones with TV remote; needs gentle reminders to eat, hydrate, take AM pills, and shower. Can do ADLs on her own but she is very hard of hearing, can't see and should not be left alone in a car or shopping area. She is a fall risk. Uses a walker. About the care needs: Someone who is very patient and also quiet - doesn't need to talk a lot but speaks English. Special skill needed - good listener, trustworthy and dependable. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping/laundry, and companionship. Need someone to come by 3 times from 12/23/24 until 12/31/24, for couple hours each, while usual caregiver is on holidays.
