Hands-on Care Needed For My Grandmother In San Rafael

About who needs care: I would like to have someone come hang out with my grandmother for a couple hours every so often when my family needs to be out of the house for extended periods of time. She is quite mobile, but is slow and can't carry much while she is moving with a walker. She solely needs help turning on lights, closing and opening doors, plating food for herself. Cognitively, she's all there so she will talk your ear off! About the care needs: My grandma sits and watches TV for hours, mostly Indian signing competitions, the news (CNN), tennis, and basketball. She primarily speaks in Gujarati (a language from India), but has learned English over the years by way of watching soap operas. She can communicate quite well, albeit slowly. There's not much in terms of specialized skills really needed, just an attentive soul who can notice when she's struggling with something as my grandmother is a bit stubborn and still wants to do everything on her own. She is happy to accept help when offered. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
