About who needs care: My grandmother is pretty strong and is physically able to care for herself at this stage, but needs reminders. She has Alzheimers and dementia and needs help with hydration reminders and assistance with daily exercises. She loves to go on walks to the nearby park and enjoys being out in the town for grocery runs and errands. About the care needs: Our new caregiver should have experience and thorough understanding of Alzheimers and dementia progression and be confident with foreseeing and anticipating my grandmothers needs. Monitoring hydration, nutrition, blood pressure, and blood sugar daily, as well as assisting with her physical therapy exercises is expected. It would be a bonus if the caregiver can speak both Thai and English. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and mobility assistance.
