About who needs care: severe stroke has paralyzed right side, but previously able bodied. Requires 50-75% assistance to transfer to and from bed/wheelchair/toilet etc. About caregiver requirements: preferably someone familiar with squat pivot transfers, otherwise must be willing to learn this technique. You have good body awareness (both your own and client's) for safety and support of client's recovery. Experienced with stroke patients and supporting daily rehabilitation exercises, ideally you can describe exercises you have supported in the past. Generally quiet and capable of giving simple instructions, Exceptionally clean. Female caregivers only due to needs of other residents. Currently seeking long-term overnight care. Services needed include: transportation, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
