I need a hands-on care provider experience for my husband in his 80s. One of your responsibilities will be helping with bathing. Additional responsibilities include light meal preparation such as a sandwich or soup. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker. You will need to put on his back brace after dressing and remove it if he needs to lie down. He will need you to insure his stability when he walks a little bit each hour and consistently does his PT. He has COPD and is on oxygen and may need a breathing treatment. You will need to give him his meds as needed for pain.
