About who needs care: My sister is bright, articulate and deeply religious. She has Multiple Sclerosis and is wheelchair-bound. She was a schoolteacher for learning-disabled kids in South Florida until very recently. She is new to San Francisco, and new to the idea of receiving professional help for her challenges. Sometime in the near future she would like to pick up her vocation again on a more intimate scale. About the care needs: The ideal candidate is reliable, punctual, and has experience working with a paraplegic person with MS. They are outgoing, emotionally sensitive and mature with a stable home situation. They are a safe driver with a willingness to attend church services with my sister on a weekly basis. They must have the physical strength to bathe her daily and to lift her up from her wheelchair onto the toilet everyday.
