Seeking Full-time Senior Care Provider In San Francisco

About who needs care: Shes currently in a skilled nursing facility. We are working to get her back to her home. She has some cognitive loss and is still being monitored and assessed as to what is related to her recent urgent health issues (sepsis, recent type 2 diabetes diagnosis, likely loss of consciousness (not just as a fall as she initially recalled) she was delirious when taken to the facility. She had been hospitalized because she was in a terrible state. Kaiser then released her to return home with daily in home nursing visits and a social services rep. She had no physical strength and was unable to care for herself. Her current doctor along with her care team and myself and my husband all agree she should have never been transferred home. She was apparently refusing medical care in hospital and was adamant about leaving. She refused the hospitals repeated requests to contact me and avoided me so I had no idea she was actually in the hospital. She did finally contact me when she was taken into the current facility. After some long discussions she is accepting care and working with the healthcare staff at the skilled nursing facility. She has been there since 9/23/24. The earliest she will be released is mid-week next week, depending on her improvement and test results. I also need to hire a caregiver and make some alterations to her home before she can be approved to go home. We are not completely clear what beyond basic self-care assistance she might need. She takes medications but they are all pills. No IV, oxygen or injections. She will need a healthy breakfast provided or a meal delivery. She may need more, but I don't have that info yet. Part of the issue will be how comfortable she is with her caregiver. About the care needs: Kind, good natured but firm. She likes fun personalities, but not too boisterous or energetic. She doesn't. She can be a bit manipulative and will try to avoid anything she doesn't want to do. She is smart, has lived in various countries. She used to love opera. She speaks Russian, Portuguese/Brazilian, and English fluently. She is Russian but she's been here most of her life. She worked for many years in a professional environment in San Francisco. She was the president of a Center in SF for many years. She likes game shows. She doesn't wear hearing aids but she has some loss of hearing and needs someone who speaks a bit louder than normal and doesn't speak too quickly. She needs someone who can reason with her and gently convince her to do things she may not want to do. She avoids or ignores things that may have serious consequences. She Is normally very chatty and fun and reacts well to nurturing soothing personalities. Services needed include: feeding, and bathing / dressing.
