Hands-on Care Needed For My Sister In San Francisco

About who needs care: My sister is bright and articulate and deeply religious. She has Multiple Sclerosis and is wheelchair-bound. She was a schoolteacher for learning-disabled kids in South Florida until very recently. She is new to San Francisco, and new to the idea of receiving professional help for her challenges. Sometime in the near future she would like to pick up her vocation again, but on a more intimate scale. About the care needs: The ideal candidate would have experience working with someone with MS. They should be outgoing, but sensitive to the emotions of others. They should also be willing to attend church services with my sister on a weekly basis, if she so desires. They must be able to operate a vehicle safely and be able to lift her from her wheelchair onto the toilet each day. A background in meal planning and meal prep is highly desirable. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
