About who needs care: - SPANISH speaker, understands some English - She uses walker - She can use bathroom on her own but may need help cleaning (not usually). - She suffers from arthritis and has a lot of pain in knees. - She has dementia- tries to remember things but forgets. - She can only eat soft food and does not like meat - She spends time watching tv mostly. - She can enjoy conversation and humor - She can be witty at times About the care needs: - Fluent SPANISH speaker, friendly, compassionate - Cook breakfast & dinner, provides snacks - Assistance to cleaning person - if needed - Encourage her to move and do her PT with her. - Give medication in AM and PM, put cream on knees as needed - Empty & clean bucket from commode in AM - VERY light housecleaning - Companionship Provide care with integrity, respect & patience.
