About the job
About who needs care: My mom has CKD and a heart condition. She is struggling with memory. My step dad has taken care of her 24/7 for years but he had a bad fall and is declining mentally. He is in a rehab center now, getting physical therapy so he can go home. He wont be able to do all he's been doing. They need help around the house, possibly grocery shopping and help prepping dinner. My mom gets dialysis MWF mornings. I dont know if my step dad can continue to drive her so Im not sure when they will need help. Just that they should not be home alone all the time as they have been. I live in NC but I will be there to assess their situation on 2/26. Staying a few weeks. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
