About who needs care: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled caregiver to provide in-home care for an elderly woman living with mid-stage Alzheimer's, incontinence, and mobility challenges. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in someone's life by ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Responsibilities: Provide personal care, including toileting and incontinence management. Assist with mobility, including transfers and walking, using appropriate aids. Monitor health conditions and medication reminders. Support daily routines, including meal preparation, feeding, and light housekeeping. Engage in companionship and stimulating activities suited for Alzheimer's patients. Communicate regularly with family members about the individual's condition and needs. About the care needs: Qualifications: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) preferred. Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer's/dementia and incontinence. Knowledge of fall prevention techniques and proper transfer methods. Physically capable of assisting with mobility and transfers. Kindness, patience, and empathy. Strong communication skills in English. Good references.
