About who needs care: I am looking for coverage for my mother-in-law, who has early dementia. She is a playful, sweet person. She walks on her own. Her hobbies include playing Scrabble, reading the newspaper and visiting the beach. She likes to watch the ocean waves. I need help on Mondays and Tuesdays in the afternoon (about 12 - 4 pm). An ideal day includes: (i) a drive to the nearby Senior center for activities or a drive to the beach to enjoy the view; and (ii) a game of Scrabble. About the care needs: An ideal caregiver will be reliable, patient, conversational, and have a good sense of humor. In terms of skills, our caregiver should have a driver's license, a clean driving record, and insurance. Services needed include: transportation, and companionship.
