About who needs care: My father walks with a cane. He smokes in the house and won't stop. He sleeps a lot and needs encouragement to shower and get dressed. About the care needs: The caregiver needs to have a strong but joyful personality. My father is likely to refuse care which is ok with us. The caregiver needs to be able to stay positive and reapproach him later. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
