About who needs care: Primary consideration should be for my elderly mother. She's a lung cancer survivor and just needs a helping hand around the house. She maneuvers around pretty well for her age and suffers only very minor cognitive related issues. She's otherwise very sharp and self sufficient. She has a hard time stooping and can't bend over as much due to some recurring vertigo, so she needs help with moderate household chores. She could use some help cooking as well. Mainly due to fatigue. She enjoys hobbies like crafting, cooking and puzzles and watching her soap operas on television. About the care needs: Open to conversation and even some ability to speak in Spanish would be great. She's English speaking but enjoys a connection to the Latin community/culture. However, not mandatory. No special skills necessary, beyond the ability,/willingness to complete minor house chores Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
