I'm exploring the idea of hiring a caretaker for live-in care for my mother who is 94. She uses a walker. She has moderately advanced dementia; she cannot create new memories and is very, very forgetful. Needs assistance with washing her hair once a week. Additional responsibilities include meal preparation, though she doesn't need help with eating. We'll need you to handle groceries or errands when appropriate. We ask that you handle transportation to rare doctor appointments as needed. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and comfortable with a cat, and for whom English is your first language. Beautiful 2500 sq ft home. You would have the enormous master suite to yourself; no charge. You would have four days off per month from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
