About who needs care: Dementia patient with underlying health conditions, recovering from pneumonia, needs help transferring from chair to walker/wheelchair and bed. Incontinent, can sometimes make it to the bathroom. She has aides 24/7 and lives in my brothers home. Needs thickened liquids. Prepare or reheat simple meals. Likes watching NCIS, doing word search puzzles. Going outside on her scooter during the day, doing exercises and snacking. Compliant, sweet tempered. Starting on mid-stage of Alzheimer's. Accessible home, safe neighborhood. Looking for recurring part-time care on weekends & drop-in caregivers for all shifts. About care needs: Female only. English speaking Patience & willingness to engage with person with dementia. Services needed include: supervising: medications, meals, bathing/dressing, and mobility assistance.
