Quiet, polite, good natured 75-year-old gentleman and semi-retired businessman. Non-ambulatory due to Stiff Person Syndrome "a progressive non-commutable neuro immune disease". When your ADLs are completed; you may relax, read, study for school, etc. but must check on my health status hourly and chart the results. Please have good computer, typing, and filing skills to assist my cognitive deficits. Third party agency pays over $4500. 00 for 211 hours of work a month. Pay is $18. 15/hr. and overtime is $27. 23/hr. If you work all hours, average pay will be over $22 per hour. Hours will increase in October and pay will be over $5500. 00 a month. When I require full time 24/7 care, another third-party agency will pay an additional 1-2 K per month. Medical/dental/vision plan, vacation plan, weekend working options.
