About the job
My father fell and broke his hip while caring for my mother who was recovering from knee surgery. Now she is almost healed and he is in a rehabilitation center recovering. We hope he will be home in a few weeks and don't really know what to expect as his mobility was already a bit compromised prior to the fall. Ideally we would find someone with the ability to help with all aspects of his care which could range from cooking and light cleaning (they have a weekly housekeeper) to helping him in and out of bed / to the restroom, running errands and taking him to appointments. We may also need overnights for a while (or permanently) while he gets back on his feet.
