About who needs care: Mom is a cancer survivor who has mobility and strength issues. She receives IVIG treatments at the hospital once a month for her skin and muscle disease. She needs help getting out of bed, bathing, personal hygiene, getting dressed, preparing food, and doing her PT strength exercises. Without these things Mom becomes weak and develops painful sores which cause her to go to the ER. She is in the ER right now. We are looking for someone who is kind, helpful, patient, and positive who call help Mom and help instill confidence and a sense of womanhood to improve her quality of life. About the care needs: Kind, positive, and patient. Qualified to manage a purewick or adult diapers, wound care, and bathing. Must love hearing endless stories about how proud she is of her children and grandchildren. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
