About who needs care: Recent stroke. Can feed himself independently but need the food set up and clean up. He can walk around independently but needs constant watch because his memory and sometimes he forgets to watch his step, or needs some assistance getting up or sitting down because hes forgotten something basic. Will also need to be reminded to drink water and use the toilet. He can go for walks but will get distracted/needs to be redirected. His mental status/aphasia/memory waxes/wanes. About the care needs: Someone patient because he has aphasia and takes a while to respond or process stuff. If you have any training on doing exercises or working or helping with homework he has a lot of activities to do for speech therapy and occupational therapy practice. He likes pickleball and used to be a tennis player. He also likes to travel. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
