About who needs care: She is in the middle stages of Alzheimers. Right now she needs assistance with meals (dinner mostly), showering and housekeeping. The only "hobby" she has is playing games on her phone. She's not in the condition to exercise or walk a whole lot. She refuses to exercise, even though she always did for most of her life. She's had 5 hip replacement surgeries and one knee replacement. She usually doesn't get up before noon. I'm at work so I call her to make sure she's up and takes her morning meds and has breakfast. She fries an egg and makes a cup of instant coffee. I go every night after work to put dinner together for her, help her pay her bills, get her mail and whatever else she needs. She refuses to take a shower. I don't fight her anymore about that. But what she won't do for me, she'll more than likely do for someone else. About the care needs: Must be a female. Someone bi-lingual is preferable. She's fluent in Spanish, but English is her first language. She loves to tell people how "she grew up in the grocery business". Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
