Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities
Responsibilities of the home care aide include, but are not limited to, the following-
Execute the client's care plan as outlined by the Care Designer.
Help clients with their ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) that are within the scope of practice for a Registered Health Care Aide.
Assisting clients with personal hygiene such as skin, mouth, hair care, bathing, and dressing.
Meal planning and preparation
Performing household services including housekeeping, laundry,
Assisting clients with medications reminders which are ordinarily self-administered.
Reporting changes in the client's condition and needs to the administrator or care designer.
Completing records regarding services performed.
Driving to appointments or to run errands.
Accurately records all hours worked.
Remains alert throughout the shift in case client requires assistance, responds immediately to any such needs by providing the assistance required, or calling the Company for guidance.
Participating in all required entry-level and annual training requirements.
Maintaining an active home care aide registration with the State of Ca. Dept. of SocialServices Home Care Services Bureau.
Other duties as assigned by the administrator or designee.
