About who needs care: Has macular degeneration and is legally blind (has poor vision, but can see). Needs assistance with many little things due to her vision limitations. Lives alone with her Labrador but has a daughter nearby who helps regularly and needs some assistance keeping up with Lydias errand running and household tasks. About the care needs: Friendly personality a must. Avid reader would be great. Lydia enjoys crossword puzzles and needs assistance to do them due to vision. Must be good with dogs. (Lydia has one elderly Labrador who is hairy and drooly and entirely friendly. Helping with the dogs recurring vet visits and ear drop administration would be valuable). Lydia has her own car for a caregiver to use for errands and appointments. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
