About who needs care: client lives in an assisted living unit of a large local senior living facility. client has progressive dementia and needs full time companionship and management care in their apartment. Client is mobile with assistance of a walker but forgets to use it. Client loves to watch videos but can't figure out how to turn it on. Client has lived in the community and has been a proud supporter of his community. Client is very sweet with a terrific sense of humor but can be prickly when irritated. The staff at his current facility love him. About the care needs: Someone who is not too chatty. Someone who has a great sense of humor, humility, and patience. Skilled in motivating a client to get where they need them to go with a gentle touch. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
