Seeking Long-term Caretaker For 2 Mornings And 2 Evenings A Week For An ALS Patient.

We are looking for 1 or more caretakers to provide a total of 8 hours of care a week for my wife who has ALS. We are looking for support between 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. on Friday and Saturday mornings. And we are looking for 10 p.m. to 12 a.m. on Sunday and Monday nights. We are open to slightly different hours on each day or evening if it works better for you. This is a long-term need with no predefined end date. The current care needs include Mobility Assistance, Bathing, Bathroom/toileting, Flossing/Brushing Teeth, Dressing, Feeding, Meal Prep, light housekeeping. Looking for a caring, patient, and compassionate, non-smoking person who is comfortable with 2 small dogs. Experience operating a Hoyer lift, power chair, cough assist, mouth "vacuum", and a breathing device (BIPAP) and working with someone who uses a power chair full time is a plus.
