Hands-on Care Needed For My Mother

About who needs care: My mother has dementia. She's gotten defiant with my dad about daily hygiene tasks She used to be an RN, so she thinks she can take care of herself, but she can't. She also has really bad knees, so she hangs out in bed most of the day. She is able to get up to use the bathroom and go to the kitchen to eat. We really need help convincing her to shower and taking her medications mainly. About the care needs: We're looking for someone who has experience We're thinking we might tell her the caregiver is a nursing student that we're mentoring, because we think she might be perceptive to that idea. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
