About the job
We are seeking a caregiver with experience in ALS and dementia care to assist our parents in their home. Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 5pm-8 a.m. This position is a work exchange; my parents provide lodging in the house as compensation in addition to a stipend $300/wknd - Medication Management: Ensuring timely administration - Personal Care: Assistance with bathing, dressing, cleaning, and toileting - Respiratory Support: Managing BiPAP machine and Cough Assist machine - Mobility Assistance: Transferring between hospital bed and wheelchair (ideal candidates should be able to lift 115 lbs without assistance) - Companionship & Engagement: Conversation, stimulation, and light activities - Safety Monitoring - Occasional Light Housekeeping & Meal Preparation Please contact us for additional information about what we are looking for.
