Major health issues: Macular degeneration General weakness, uses walker or cane Some cognitive decline, early stages of dementia Frances is well educated, is part of 2 book groups (listens to books on tape). My oldest sister lives with her and needs support because she provides all of my mother's care now. Looking for 10-15 hours/week at this time. Looking for someone with a sense of humor, patience, and an interest in current events, or just talking about things they're reading or watching on TV. They need to be able to drive Frances to appointments, and on short excursions eg, within an hour's drive away. Also, light meal prep, light housekeeping & companionship. Services needed: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, and mobility assistance.
