Seeking Full-time Senior Care Provider In Palm Springs

About who needs care: My mom is 80. My sister and I live on the east coast and she lives in Palm Springs with my stepdad. She needs assistance with meal prep and being encouraged to eat/drink. She is able to wash and bathe herself however she is frail and may need a steadying hand, or someone to help her from place to place in her home. There would not need to be cleaning involved other than some light meal clean-up. She lives in a beautiful environment and has a great housekeeper who does grocery shopping and light errands for her as well, but additional senior companionship and care as well as meal prep and encouragement are what is needed at this time. About the care needs: Experience working with headstrong women, some knowledge of healthy eating habits and nutrition. Encouraging and patient. To be honest my mom is a liberal democrat and would enjoy spending time with someone of like mind. My mom enjoys reading, keeping up with current events, and social issues. She is also very supportive of the LGBTQIA+ community. She loves flowers and enjoys landscaping/gardening but is not mobile enough to do this anymore. She has a cat and loves animals. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
