About who needs care: I'm gay and HIV+, current with my vaccines, try to be very independent, but I have limited mobility, use cane and motorized wheelchair; very political, LIBERAL; have 2 friendly mature indoor cats; I watch a lot of TV and listen to audiobooks, I'm not as active as I should be. I'm 68, almost 69 and I've been through the ringer! About the care needs: Good sense of humor; good sense of intuition... can anticipate what needs to happen next; organization skills are key. good hygienic protocols are a must. cooking aptitude would help as I have a simple, yet tricky diet; dairy-free, low fat, etc. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and mobility assistance.
