Seeking Full-time Senior Care Provider In Palm Desert

About who needs care: Theirs is memory and communication challenges. This is a 50 year married couple situation with memory and communication issues. Both are physically able to dress, shower and complete other Daily activities. They have a 30 pound friendly dog. Previous hobbies were travel, golf and hosting friends. Now, difficult to read but sometimes watch TV, do not drive but can go on errands with driver, play some cards or games. Ideal day would include basic routine with meals, lots of memory assistance, running errands, conversation and assisting with phones and calendar and scheduling visits or other with friends. Person would need PATIENCE! About the care needs: Patience, kindness, ability to speak English for conversation, ability to redirect any upset, frustrated or obstinate feelings/behavior. Must have experience with dementia patients. Ability to prep and administer medication and cook simple meals. Ability to drive own car. Prefer no more than 3 same caregivers per week. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
