Hands-on Care Needed For My Father In Palm Desert

We're seeking a vibrant and compassionate caregiver for an active senior in his 70s. He's a snowbird who is recovering from pancreatic cancer surgery and requires support with medication, supplements, and meal preparation (the most critical part of the role as he needs to eat 5 small meals per day). Light housekeeping (he has cleaning service) and errands. We're looking for someone who can offer companionship, though he has a strong community network and is married. Note, his wife is not the ideal support needed during his recovery - she is lovely but wants to spend her time crafting and visiting with her friends in community. The ideal candidate is a non-smoker, CPR/First-Aid trained, and comfortable around a friendly miniature labradoodle.
