About who needs care: In great shape physically and mentally for almost 96. Still gardens daily. Cannot see well. Still drives a little but likely not much longer. Only travels for dr's, hair appt, occasional friend or relative nearby, occasionally to her club. Plays bridge once a week. About the care needs: A smart care person who does not talk too much, yet knows what to say at the right time. A good honest, hard working companion. Needs to be able to drive, assist with cleaning, household chores. Mom still tries to do it all, need somebody to step in and allow her to do just a little, not a lot anymore. Mom loves her garden, loves her son's and daughter's dogs as they bring them when they visit. Watches tv. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
