We're looking for some help with my father (73) who has early Alzheimer's. He is living with my retired mother in Orinda and sometimes in Walnut Creek, but we need help. On a minute-to-minute basis, he's mostly OK, but his memory is extremely poor and so he can't stay on track for things he's trying to do. He basically needs constant reminders/guidance/prompting. We'd like someone who is very active and can help him be more active (go on walks, play clarinet, crosswords, visit parks/places, go to museums/etc, work on little things around the garden or house, etc). He has been less active with his dementia and depression. We have a car for a caregiver to take him on any errands he wants to do. Physically, he is in decent shape, so help isn't really needed in that regard. We are very flexible on hours and days of the week.
