About who needs care: Stroke, paralysis on left side, requires assistance to commode, wheelchair, dressing, bathing, meals, etc. Puzzles, dice game, reading, its been difficult to keep her focused to keep trying these things and try new ones Its difficult to structure her ideal day as every day is different however when she is feeling good, she would like to do a daily routine. About the care needs: Easy going, friendly, trustworthy, caring, empathetic, patience, sense of humor, willing to push her every day to keep up on PT, OT, exercises, sitting in the wheelchair for longer periods of time, working on daily hygiene activity's. She was the ED at one of the top assisted living facilities in Carlsbad so she very knowledgeable in this area. Definitely need to be able to do one person transfer from bed to commode, wheelchair, shower, chair, couch, etc. Wound care, make food, shop, run errands Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
