About who needs care: High maintenance companionship she has a short-term memory loss so a lot of the same things are repeated throughout the day like getting her things from her bookshelf or rearranging her pictures on her wall or handing her various items from different parts of her room writing list assisting her with physical therapy certain things you'd like to look up online all of the meal preparation laundry and cleaning is done by her sister who lives in the home she also needs to be efficiently cleaned when bathed showered or diaper changes and her pads on her bed need to be cleaned regularly each time her diapers changed we have had experiences in the past with caregivers if not keep her adequately clean and she got infections and bed sores and such so she needs to be clean most of all that is most important thing is that she's tended to regularly with being clean so we can't have somebody who is scared to wipe her how she needs to be wiped and clean her off with hot soap and water instead of just baby wipes we can't have someone who is lazy when it comes to my sister being clean she also has outburst from time to time during the day which we are working on her not having which could make some people very unsettled however she does not directly verbally abused her caretakers she just has kind of an unsettling mouth when it comes to the anger issue she has which are being worked on currently through a lot of emotional cognitive therapy and development with her being off medication that she wants was on heavily and cause her to be kind of a zombie so there are some things that we're working on with her that are kind of rough around the edges and can be a little bit unsettling for the meat so we would need someone who could understand that mental disability or somebody who at least had experience in working with mentally ill and understands that M my sister is trying to work on these issues naturally so it's it's going to be a long road but most important my sister needs companionship she has no friends from after her accident when she was hit by a car she was in a coma for 6 months and the doctor told her she wouldn't live my mother fought for her in facilities for years before they finally got a house they live in now I moved into help them and I soon became my mother and my sister's primary Care takers because my mother had a stroke then last February and I need help really badly with my sister I cannot take care of both of them at the same time all day and night with no breaks no time off and all the other responsibilities to come with the house taking care of the animals and every other thing that has to be taken care of paying bills doing paperwork and so forth so it is much needed that we have somebody who is laid back and understands what it's like to deal with people with emotional mental illness other than that you're a pretty laid-back family very simple non-judgmental very welcoming we appreciate the help that we get and we are hoping to find somebody that can just be efficient when cleaning my sister and not dirty or lazy or unable to do simple tasks for my sister like brushing her teeth before she goes to bed or making sure her bed is clean after you changing her diaper and making sure her hind end is cleaned properly when she's gone number two I don't like to open up my sister's diaper when I change her and find that there's three seasons inside of her still that's absolutely I know this is a long detailed message but it is much needed I've been through a lot of caretakers since I've only been here for 2 years and we have yet to only find one of them it was amazing but she moved away to Mexico so we hope to find somebody who is just as equally or not if better than her thank you About the care needs: Open minded energetic a little bit on the wild side imaginative and pathetic understanding patient and clean very clean knows how to change a diaper correctly and has a great sense of humor Services
