About who needs care: Mild dementia, stroke recovery, fall risk, mobility issues stemming from amputation due to diabetes, mild incontinence but very much engaged and social with those she can remember. A bit timid towards new people, this eases up after a month or so of interacting almost daily. About the care needs: Someone who is patient, flexible and genuinely concerned about making this last part of someone's journey as wholesome and comfortable as possible. Old age does not do nice things to people, we hope to find a caregiver who will make everyday count. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
