Ongoing Support For Young ALS Family

We are seeking help for my 46 yr old husband with ALS. . This job involves: using a lift for transfers, preparing meds, oral care, assisted toileting, bathing, time management and housekeeping. We will train but applicant must have some experience. We are looking for applicants with excellent communication skills, patience for computer assisted communication and can get consent for each tiny detail of his needs, while managing a complex array of tasks on a tight schedule. We will hire 2 long-term people to cover: evenings 5:00-10:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday mornings 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Occasional (monthly) 2 days plus overnight.
