About who needs care: My mom, Urfana, is a lively and social 75-year-old who loves engaging conversations, playing games, and enjoying afternoon walks. She values companionship and enjoys a structured, caring routine. I, her daughter Sairah, am her main caregiver and live with her. However, I am looking for additional support to ensure she has consistent care, especially when I travel to Seattle for two weeks every month to visit my husband. Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and patient caregiver to assist with my moms daily routine and provide companionship. Responsibilities include: Morning Assistance: Helping her get up around 10 a.m., prepare breakfast, and assist with dressing as needed. Hygiene Support: Assisting with showers (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) by being on standby for safety and providing any necessary help. Medication Management: Assisting with morning and evening medications. Companionship: Engaging her in conversation, playing games, and accompanying her on early afternoon walks. Meal Preparation: Preparing simple meals or snacks and ensuring she stays hydrated. Health Monitoring: Keeping an eye on any changes in her health and communicating updates to me. Schedule: Approximately 35 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Flexibility to adjust the schedule when Im in town. Full coverage needed during the two weeks Im away each month. Ideal Candidate: Experience caring for elderly individuals, with a focus on companionship and medication management.
